 Large Combustions Plant Directive, LCP-D - This Directive aims to reduce the emissions into the air (sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and dust) from large combustion plants, varying according to the age and capacity of the plants, as well as the type of fuel burned (solid, liquid or gaseous).

Loss of Primary Containment, LOPC - The uncontrolled or unplanned release of a product from a process or storage that serves as primary containment.
It is reported separately according to the following three categories:
1. LOPC Incidents that release from 10 up to 100 kg
2. LOPC Incidents that release from 100 up to 1000 kg
3. LOPC Incidents that release more than 1000 kg

Lost Time Injury, LTI - Work related injury which results in a person being unfit for work at least one shift. Fatalities are included.
The reporting system of MOL Group counts only occupational injury and injury in connection with organized work conduct (business travel, materials handling and transportation, maintenance of hygiene, meals taken at the workplace, medical examination or any other service that is provided by the employer during working hours), regardless of the date, time of day, location and degree of involvement of the injured employee. Injuries on the way to and from work are not counted as injuries at work, unless they happened in a vehicle that is owned or chartered by the employer.

Lost Time Injury Frequency, LTIF - The number of LTIs per 1 million hours worked.
It is calculated by the formula:
LTIF = (number of LTI)/(scheduled work time)*1000000

 Lost Day Rate, LDR - Percentage of absence from work due to illness arising as a result of occupational injuries or occupational illness.
It is calculated by the formula:
LDR = (days lost due to occupational injuries or occupational illness) / (scheduled work time) * 100%
