Work-related injury - An occupational injury that happened to an employee during or related to organized work (during travel for work purposes, materials handling or transport, performing personal hygiene, organized workplace catering, occupational health care or any other service provided by the employer during working hours), independent of its time, date and location and the degree of involvement of the (injured) employee. Any injury taking place when an employee is being transported from home to workplace or vice-versa is not considered to be a work-related injury, unless such injury happens in a vehicle owned or leased by the employer.
Injuries on the way to and from work must be specifically statistically monitored in accordance with the Croatian legislation
