    • This projects links the production system in Slovenia with Ina’s production system in Croatia, which opens up the possibility of expanding upon the cooperation in the future

Zagreb, 3rd November 2017 – Ina’s production system received the first amounts of raw natural gas manufactured by Geoenergo at two wells (Pg-10 and Pg11A) in the Petisovci gas field near Lendava, in NE Slovenia. INA and Geoenergo meet all the technical, administrative and legal prerequisites for this deal, stipulated in July 2016.

Raw natural gas is transported via the system of production gas pipelines to the Central Gas Station in Molve, where it is processed, and prepared for commercial use. Daily deliveries will comprise of around 70.000 m³ of raw natural gas, and the Delivery Contract with Geoenergo is made for a one-year period, with the possibility of extension.

Linking the production system in Slovenia with Ina’s production system in Croatia opens up the possibility of expanding upon the cooperation in the future. “This project is significant for INA because it increases the utilisation of existing production capacities of the company, and the processed gas will be placed on the domestic market. We are also pleased that this project is an example of cross-border cooperation in the energetics field, which is in accordance with the directives and policies of the European Union on the matters of mutual energy policy of member-states.”, said Mr. Tvrtko Perkovic, the Operational Director of Exploration and Production of Oil and Gas.

The realization of this project is in accordance with the Croatian and European energy regulation, which provides negotiating access of a third party to the network of production gas pipelines.
