Barbara Dorić was appointed onto the INA Management Board having previously held the position of Director of LNG Croatia. She has more than 12 years of experience of managing projects and companies in the energy sector. From February 2014 to April 2018 she served as the head of the Hydrocarbon Agency, where she was in charge of monitoring and supervision of all oil and gas exploration and production activities in Croatia, including the mandatory reserves of oil and oil products. She started her business career at Dalmacijacement, where she worked in sales and operations. During her MBA programme, she worked at the American consulting company A. T. Kearney where she gained extensive experience working on projects focused on the organization and transformation of various industries in Southeastern Europe, particularly the energy and telecommunications industries. She was in charge of energy projects at the Centre for Monitoring Business Activities in the Energy Sector and Investments. Mrs. Dorić graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Vienna, completed an MBA programme and obtained a PhD from the University of Ljubljana with a thesis on management in the oil and gas industry.
