Zagreb, 24 October 2025 – INA has marked ten years of the MAMFORCE Standard, celebrating a decade of dedicated work towards creating an inclusive and equitable working environment. At the anniversary ceremony, the President of INA’s Management Board Zsuzsanna Ortutay and HR Director Tome Barić were presented with the MAMFORCE GROW Standard, based on an independent assessment and awarded by Diana Kobas Dešković, Director of the consultancy company Spona Code. With the results of the latest evaluation, INA stands above the standard on the domestic market, confirming that the continuous enhancement of corporate culture yields measurable results.
When INA entered the MAMFORCE process ten years ago, the goal was to enable employees to better balance their professional and private lives, encourage the employment, retention, and advancement of women, and build a culture in which everyone feels included. What was then a bold step is now a story of successful transformation.
“Today, we celebrate effort, unity, and diversity, because that is what makes INA strong. We can be proud of the recognition we receive, but we must also continue on this path to ensure our business environment remains inclusive. Our differences are not something we should hide or change to fit in. Instead, our diversity is an opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed together,” said Zsuzsanna Ortutay, President of Management Board of INA.
Over the past ten years, the share of women at INA has risen to 27%, with significant growth at all levels – women now make up 44% of managers, 37% of middle management, and 25% of senior management. The company has improved its inclusivity and support policies, reaching 98% according to the MAMFORCE methodology, supported by initiatives aimed at employee well-being such as the beneFIT platform and Kids Day. Efforts to foster paternal involvement have also resulted in the DADFORCE standard. Today, 40% of men at INA use parental leave after their child turns six months old, which is ten times higher than the national average (3.8%), and employees report a high level of support from their superiors, making INA a family-friendly employer.
“INA’s ten years with the MAMFORCE Standard confirm that strategic and consistent work on a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity creates an organisation resilient to change and focused on people. Through ongoing cooperation, we are witnessing a true commitment to developing an inclusive organisational culture that results in more harmonious teams, numerous innovations, and better productivity. Along the way, a range of initiatives and programmes have been developed to support a culture of understanding and support, reflected in positive employee experiences. We are especially pleased with the increased representation of women at all levels, from employment to senior management, which confirms INA as a great workplace for women. Congratulations on all achievements,” said Diana Kobas Dešković, Director of Spona Code.
In the past ten years, the MAMFORCE Standard has been a key driver in developing a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity at INA, proving that success is achieved through daily dedicated work, a clear vision, and trust.
