Zagreb, 21 July 2025 – INA has started gas production from the Jamarice-183 (JAM-183) well, located within the Jamarice production field near the town of Novska. The well is producing 33,500 cubic meters of gas per day, representing a 36 percent increase in output from the Jamarice field.

The commissioning of JAM-183 involved extensive construction work, including the installation of gas pipelines and power cables along a 2,500-meter route.
The building permit was obtained on 28 April, with on-site works starting as early as 7 May, underscoring the swift and efficient execution of the project. The well was brought into production on 15 July.
“The outstanding dedication of INA teams and our contractor, STSI – Integrated Technical Services, enabled us to complete the work to a high standard and significantly ahead of schedule – a month and a half earlier than the contracted deadline. I would also like to highlight the exceptionally efficient permitting process, which played a key role in accelerating project implementation. Such administrative efficiency serves as a benchmark for future investments,” said Josip Bubnić, Operating Director of Exploration and Production at INA.
The Jamarice production field is located approximately 100 kilometres southeast of Zagreb. The JAM-183 well was successfully drilled in 2022 to a depth of 2,079 meters. Once gas reservoir production is completed, the well is expected to be converted for oil production from deeper reservoirs.
