INA and Jadrolinija signed contract worth almost HRK 350 million

  • INA continues to supply Jadrolinija in the coming year
  • Almost 55 million litres of fuel to be delivered to Jadrolinija in 2014

Zagreb, 3 December 2013 – A contract signing ceremony was held today in Rijeka between INA and Jadrolinija on procurement of fuel for the period from 1 January to 31 December 2014. On behalf of INA the contract was signed by INA MB President Zoltán Áldott, MB member Ivan Krešić, while also present were Executive Director of Refining and Marketing Arthur Thernesz and Director of Commercial Sector György Patkó. On behalf of Jadrolinija signatories were MB President Alan Klanac, MB Vice President Miljenko Antić, and MB member Marko Čičin-Šain. Contract is worth HRK 350 million and would provide nearly 55 million litres of fuel for Jadrolinija.

Addressing the audience on this occasion, Mr Zoltán Áldott said “INA is extremely pleased to continue cooperation with Jadrolinija, which is just like the INA, one of the flagships of Croatian economy with decades-long tradition. With today’s contract ensures quality fuel for Jadrolinija and safety that INA, as tested and proven supplier, offers. For INA, on the other hand, reliable and stable customer, and partner, is secured. Same as in previous years, INA will give its maximum in ensuring successful cooperation in the coming year, with special emphasis on the sensitive period of the tourist season when not even the smallest gaps in logistics and supply can be allowed.”

Jadrolinija MB President Mr Alan Klanac said “Through a public procurement procedure INA once again earned THE contract for the supply of fuel for Jadrolinija. We are extremely pleased to have secured sufficient quantities of fuel that correspond to those of the previous year and that we are continuing our cooperation with trusted partners such as INA.”

Supply contract was signed on the basis of the public procurement procedure, while the contracted amount is almost exceeding the quantities delivered last year, thereby continuing the successful cooperation between the two companies that began in 1964.
