INA – Industrija nafte, d.d. held an Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Assembly today at 12 p.m. at its Head Office in Zagreb, Croatia. The Assembly was attended by 9,500,566 votes or 95.006 % of 10,000,000 votes in total.
With the necessary majority of votes and in line with the Agenda, the Extraordinary General Assembly adopted a decision on the revocation of Ábel Galácz and József Simola from their position as members of the Supervisory Board of INA, while Szabolcs I. Ferencz and Ferenc Horváth were appointed as new members of the Supervisory Board for a period until June 10, 2013.
Szabolcs I. Ferencz is Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs, MOL Group, since 1 May, 2011. Before taking up his position as Head of Corporate Affairs, where he supervised Strategy Development, Governmental relations, Regulatory affairs, HR and Communications, he was the CEO and Country Chairman of MOL Romania, a key member of MOL Group. Previously he held the position of Vice President – MOL Group Corporate Communications and was in charge of the overall communications activities of MOL Group. Before joining MOL Group in 2003, Szabolcs Ferencz worked in government and political communications. In 1998, he was appointed Director of Communications for the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office. From 2000 to 2002, he was Chef du cabinet at the Hungarian Ministry of National Cultural Heritage. Mr. Ferencz received his BA in Economics from the University of Regensburg and pursued postgraduate studies in political science.
Ferenc Horváth holds the position of Executive Vice President of MOL Downstream (Refinery& Marketing as well as Retail) since 1 May, 2011, while since November 2003 he was the Executive Vice President of MOL Refining & Marketing Division. Mr. Horváth is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of IES Mantua since November 2007 and he is a member of the Board of Directors of SLOVNAFT since May 2007. He is also member of the Board of Directors of TVK since May 2011.
From 1984 until 1991, he worked for Mineralimpex, the Hungarian Foreign Trade Company for Oil & Mining Products, in the fields of crude oil and natural gas imports, and crude oil product exports. Between 1991 and 1997, he was Managing Director of Allcom Trading Co., the Hungarian Mineralimpex-Phibro Energy joint-venture, dealing with the European trading of crude oil and crude oil products. He joined MOL Plc in 1998 as Director of LPG Business Unit, and worked from January 2001 onwards as Sales Director, being responsible for the sales of MOL’s entire product range (petrol, diesel, petroleum products, bitumen, LPG, lubricants, and so on). Between 2002 and 2003 he was Commercial Director, sales activities having broadened to encompass the supply of crude oil and raw materials necessary for the refining of crude oil.Documents
