Miners’ Day celebrated

ZAGREB, December 6 – On the occasion of Saint Barbara’s Day, the miners’ patroness a traditional ceremony was held in office building in Šubićeva. The ceremony was attended by Zoltán Áldott, president of the Management Board of INA, Bojan Milković, Chief Executive Director, Members of INA Management Board, Executive Board, representatives of Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering and other distinguished guests. In celebration of this tradition, with congratulations to the jubilees, this year’s business results and plans for the incoming period were shortly presented. The attendees were addressed by Zoltán Áldott who emphasized: “Investments and results of our key projects in recent years such as Syria, North Adriatic and fields in Croatia have contributed to positive results in spite difficult times for all oil companies. Upstream is a very competitive business and thanks to projects in the production which have begun five or ten years ago, INA has more than good mid-term prospects in order to strengthen its position in the region.

Bojan Milković, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director for Exploration and Production spoke in detail about this year’s results in upstream activities in our country and abroad and presented the joint exploration projects in Croatia and abroad such as gas discovery on Zaláta – Dravica field, projects in the North Adriatic, Syria, Egypt and Angola. “Analysis of new exploration and development opportunities in Croatia, enhance of company`s culture are the basis of INA’s strength and success in 2011”, Milković pointed out.

Traditional ceremonies will also be organized on December 7 in Posavina, Podravina and Slavonija Districts were INA has intensive exploration and development activities.Documents
